Wreck Penetration Course


THE VICTORIA BC COAST AREA has some of the best wreck diving on the planet. Within driving distance are:

  • The wrecks of the GB Church and HMCS Mackenzie.
  • Nanaimo's famous Cape Breton, HMCS Saskatchewan.
Additionally, traveling divers frequently visit wrecks off BC's Vancouver Island and throughout the Caribbean and Pacific. Are you prepared to take part in the fun?

Wilson Diving Wreck Penetration course covers a vast variety of topics, including: safety, hazards and cautions, special risks of overhead environments, gas management, entanglement, limited visibility, silting, equipment configuration (additions and modifications), fin techniques, reel use.

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Have at least 20 logged dives.
  • Possess a minimum of Advanced Scuba Diver certification
Equipment Requirements

All personal dive gear plus 1 primary and 1 back up light, 1 reel and dive knife.

Course includes a 4 hour classroom session and 4 wreck dives. The wreck dives from your advanced course counts towards the 4.
Course Cost:

$289.00 includes boat fees for 2 wreck dives. Add a Nitrox course for $130.00: Get 2 specialties for an additional $130.00. Nitrox included. Dive the wrecks with Nitrox and extend your Bottom Time.
